The book of Revelation is the current truth of things past, present, and future, concerning the eternal glory of Jesus Christ, bodily resurrected and irreversibly immortal.
Let's review the occasion of the diversity of nations as they are appearing before His majesty, enthroned immortal, for instance, as a present reality, understanding as Paul said, even while we occupy in the diversity of bodily expression on earth, we are seated with Him, as one body of people "in heavenly places" and while we are engaged in the same Spirit, and, the same unchangeable truth, we are still representing our natural estate on earth in the body of diversity giving no special regard nor preference to the nature of our diversity in the flesh.
We appear, from His perspective and before His throne of majesty, exalted, as the only begotten Son of God, alone of all humanity, immutible, and immortal at present, just as we are, in every respect present in the earthly body of our nativity.
So let us compare spiritual things with Spiritual things, and natural things with natural things, for clarity's sake.
Chronologically, after the Jewish tribes were set in their numbers according to the ascension of the Lord, and they were therefore accounted and revealed in specific and recordable numbers, [even as was given to Elijah, at the point of his encounter in the cave a specific number had been accounted of by God and revealed to him for encouragement of their joint effort for salvation of the greatest number possible] as of those who had already ascended with Him when He did and they are all numbered as present with Him where He is. Matt 27:52,53
And this happened according to His faithfulness to save those of the Jewish ethnicity as first ordained and promised to this salvation, thereby fulfilling His promise to the descendants of Abraham, as those appointed to salvation in Him, previous to His appearing.
Consider that moment of His canvas two by two, 140 empowered witnesses, throughout the whole of ethnic Israel, for the finality of the so called first fruit harvest during the moment of His first appearing in the body of mortality, as the first fruit harvest, of those who had been and were being secured with Himself to ascend with Him to the place He prepared for them with Himself when He Himself took death captive and ascended from death, hell, and the grave, with the previously dead, together with His own previously dead body, as a fulfilment of Isaiah 26:19. There was no alternative place for the dead, before He went up to prepare them one with Himself.
While they are ascended and secured with Him, where He is, He Himself alone is clothed with the eternal body of immortality and the sole power to command the same over the rest.
Every believer before that time, at that time, and since that time, has been secured ascended with Himself "apart from the body" in heaven and is at "present with the Lord", to await the rest for the universal change to immortality when He commands it at the consummation. For we who are alive and remain will be changed altogether with them at the consummation.
Remember, 10 days after ascending with them together with Him, He began pouring down the promise of the Father on the remnant of the ethnic Jews, and the rest of all flesh, regardless of ethnicity.
In the fulfilment of Joel's prophecy as Peter proclaimed, in irreversible, immutable, everlasting, and glorious truth. He began to pour out His Holy Spirit, "upon all flesh" as remained on earth after the ascension of the faithful with the Lord, and to this present day, irrespective of ethnicity. And all of History is a witness to this truth, proceeding to the present day, in increasing the numbers of the saved throughout every generation in the "great[er] harvest".
As the scriptures reveal, after having led the captivity of death, captive, He started giving gifts to all men, not just to the ethnicity of the Jews alone, who still remain among all men of every tongue, tribe, and earthly body of diversity in ethnicity with an equal and same opportunity to hear the gospel, receive the Holy Spirit, and believe to the saving of the soul and redemption of the body to immortality when He comes to command it over all.
After His ascension, we know that all nations, tongues, and tribes of people, all others not a party to ethnic Israel, summed up in a word, "gentiles," began to appear before His majesty, irreversibly enthroned in heaven. So much so that Paul declares, if we have become one Spirit with the Lord, there are no more ethnic lines of distinction. He also said, "Don't lie to one another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;" but rather "put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created" us equal, and gave us a new birth in Christ: Whereby in Him, there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is our all, and in all. Col 3:9-17
Again, let us consent to the same truths, that those who are present with the Lord are absent from the body, and therefore absent from the bodily distinctions of ethnic diversity or even of male or female, and whatever was before their death, related to the earthly body.
And so should we consider ourselves crucified to these diversities, already, and ascended in the Spirit of communion with the Lord, communion with those who have gone up before us, and communion with one another as one body of people redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and filled with His Holy Spirit in witness of the same eternal and unchangeable truth, and our blessed hope of being changed into His likeness, both now by His Spirit in communion, and then bodily at God's sovereignty in command over the consummation.
Therefore, a depiction remains of a spiritual truth at the present time; that while our earthly diversity remains, we are identified by faith in the Spiritual body that is of the same caliber as Paul's statement of our being seated with Him in heavenly places and making intercession before His throne, while as yet clothed in the body of diversity, but ascended in the Spirit of communion with all the saints, and this is how we appear of every tongue, tribe and nation, before His throne as seated with Him in heavenly places.
The voices of many tribes, tongues, and the diversity of Nations that remain on earth, crying out, but as ascended in the Spirit for praise to His glory in the sight of the Lord and from His heavenly perspective as presently revealed in the foreknowledge of the Lord and previously recorded in the revelation of Jesus Christ, as first given to John the beloved and when He recorded it. Amen.
In the resurrection, there will be just one people and one body immortal in likeness to Himself immortal and the spirit of God will be with all and in all, and there are no more earthly distinctions, but we will all be clothed individually, with the greater body of likeness to Himself. One family, one people, one nation, immortal, and forever! In the new heaven and new earth prepared for those who love Him.
